Schade (pity), after all, can't be increased (in German Language). We could say 'very schade', just as we could say 'very nice', but while we can also say 'nicer', we cannot do so with 'schade'. Schade, as a term, is already an end point, it lacks nothing more to complete, we don't have to add anything to it, complete it. It also, I think, defines nothing, it only comments. Schade Marmelade. I see. What I see discourages me. Is art afraid and stands beside it? Marmalade preserves.
A tragic loop.

Close to the music, could be the motto of this concert series, the musicians in the middle of the room, hearing sounds in all corners of the room. Compositions for many instruments, or in Carola Bauckholt's composition quite differently - for four musicians, four winter jackets become instruments.

„Vor Ort“ is a concert series by DEHIO, an ensemble for new and experimental music founded in 2021. The freelance professional musicians from NRW dedicate it exclusively to the revivals of compositions of contemporary music with a connection to NRW. They preserve these pieces for further interpretation. These are concert experiences with a lot of pleasure in exploring new things, sometimes with humour, sometimes with some surprising, rarely seen instruments and great joy in playing. Look forward to the new DEHIO programme 2023 in other venues and only in North Rhine-Westphalia.
