NKR Call #1

In Spring 2019 the NKR published an open call. 152 posters were entered by international artists, detailing a range of concepts and exhibition abstracts. The jury chose the project Nährboden (culture medium):
"Nährboden is fundamental research on what collaborative working and thinking can be – by an artist duo which has collaborated for some time. As we understand it, the project is an invitation to others to participate in this process. Therefore, Nährboden is an outwardly open undertaking which does not specifically address an art audience. Nährboden is more a theoretical construct than it is an exhibition concept. Nährboden is open and unbiased. The project Nährboden by gaethgens.hirsch takes place from 8. October to 8. November 2020 at NKR.
